On the 12th of February 2026, InnoMatSyn organizes its 1st InnoMatSyn Event. As a key stakeholder of the advanced materials (AdMa) community we are delighted to invite to join us there!

The event will be organized around three different workshops, introducing preliminary results of the project as well as collecting feedback from the audience through dedicated interactive sessions as well as open dialogue.

  • The first workshop “Validating the Present, Shaping the Future: Funding Perspectives for AdMa” focusses on exploring challenges and opportunities in shaping upcoming R&I agendas beyond 2027 and in de-fragmenting the current funding landscape across the continent.
  • The second workshop “Who does what in the EU Materials Ecosystem” the results of a recent survey shared with, and answered by the AdMa community will be presented and a live dialogue with all attendees, about who does what in the Materials Research Ecosystem will follow.
  • The third workshop “Interactive Session on Critical Technology Leakage” will provide a short impulse on the Technology Leakage concept and the Initial criticality report on FLAG-ERA and M-ERA.NET projects and related content as well as an interactive discussion with attendees from the funding agencies, Member States and other interested parties on the experience with dual use, technological sovereignty, and leakage concerns.

The event is part of the activities of the InnoMatSyn EU-funded project and will be held in a hybrid format. All stakeholders of the European AdMa ecosystem, from science to industry to policymakers and funding bodies are invited to attend. Your voice is key to us!

The event is free of charge, but registering is mandatory. Please, register for all sessions you are interested in attending.  For those interested in joining on-site, the event will take place in the facilities of our partner TECNALIA, in Bilbao (Spain). The number of seats is limited. Secure yours by registering for the event before January 16, 2026!
