R-Nano Lab’s mission is to empower innovation in the field of advanced, composite, and nanomaterials through cutting-edge research, interdisciplinary expertise, and state-of-the-art infrastructure. As part of the School of Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), R-Nano combines scientific excellence with hands-on technological capabilities to support the entire lifecycle of materials research and development.
R-Nano provides integrated solutions for materials design, processing, and performance evaluation, addressing technical, functional, and sustainability aspects. With a strategic approach grounded in scientific rigor and practical insight, R-Nano accelerates the development of next-generation materials tailored to industrial, environmental, and societal needs.
R-Nano offers expertise in the following service domains:
With a team of engineers, scientists, and technicians backed by robust laboratory infrastructure, R-Nano Lab stands as a leading partner in advancing materials science for a sustainable, high-performance future.
NTUA stands in InnoMatSyn as a strategic leader in materials science research and standardisation. NTUA leads the compilation and organisation of state-of-the-art ontologies used in materials science, in WP1, supporting structured knowledge integration. Additionally, NTUA will analyse material-related R&D&I activities across councils and initiatives in WP3, and will contribute an analysis of established definitions related to dual-use technologies in WP4.
